Verdant Robotics Expands Commercial Availability of SharpShooter Across the U.S.

Verdant Robotics SharpShooter Precision Application
Verdant Robotics has announced the expanded nationwide availability of its flagship SharpShooter precision application system, aimed at helping specialty crop growers reduce labor dependency and input costs.

The expansion comes in response to increasing demand from growers seeking reliable and efficient solutions to modern agricultural challenges.

Precision Technology for Modern Farming

Built on Verdant Robotics’ proprietary Aim & Apply technology, the SharpShooter delivers millimeter-accurate applications with 99.9% shot precision across organic, conventional, and no-till farming systems.

Using advanced computer vision and AI, the system performs targeted operations such as:
• Weeding
• Thinning
• Removing doubles
• Applying beneficial inputs

The technology is designed to function effectively even in high-density crops and unpredictable field conditions.

Growers See Real-World Benefits

Specialty crop growers across the U.S. are increasingly adopting the SharpShooter for its adaptability and operational efficiency.

Jason Gaylord, Farm Manager of My-T Acres in Batavia, New York, highlighted the system’s practical value:
“We’ve been looking for a way to reduce our reliance on manual weeding without sacrificing precision. What set the SharpShooter apart was its adaptability and how easily it integrates into our operation.”

Improved Performance and Capabilities

Based on direct feedback from growers, Verdant Robotics has enhanced the SharpShooter’s performance, including:
• 40% increase in shot rate
• 42% increase in field speed
• Up to 270 pinpoint shots per second across more than 20 crop types

The system also features 3-D Crop Shield technology, enabling precise application even under crop leaves without causing damage. It can accurately target plants of varying sizes and automatically adjust input volume based on the target.

Daniel Alameda of TopFlavor Farms shared his experience: “The SharpShooter analyzes data and makes decisions in real time. What used to take 30 people all day can now be done with one machine and one operator.”

Scaling Production to Meet Demand

To support growing adoption, Verdant Robotics has scaled up production in 2025 and is now assembling multiple units each week.

Gabe Sibley, Co-Founder and CEO of Verdant Robotics, emphasized the company’s focus: “Our goal is to help growers do more with less by reducing costs associated with labor and inputs, allowing them to allocate resources more effectively.”

Driving Efficiency and Sustainability

Verdant Robotics aims to transform agriculture through intelligent robotics that improve efficiency and support sustainable farming practices.

With machines now operating across key agricultural regions in the U.S., the SharpShooter is helping growers reduce labor and input costs while achieving return on investment within 6 to 18 months.
